Armori Agricultural Produce Market was established on 09 January 1961, as per the Maharashtra Produce Purchase (Rules) Act, 1963 and the rules made thereunder, 1967, the official date of preparation of the agricultural market is in progress.

The jurisdiction of Sankate Bazaar is limited to four villages namely Armori, Desaiganj, Kurkheda and Korchi.

India is a predominantly agricultural country. In this way, 65 percent of the people do farming, this is the only way for Indian business to survive. Today, 60 percent of the total national income comes from agriculture and agriculture is the backbone of the economy due to its importance in the development of the country.
